Rooh Season is a Bollywood karaoke singing competition on TikTok that celebrates talent, passion, and the timeless magic of music.
The name “Rooh,” meaning “soul,” was chosen during a heartfelt conversation at a café among a group of friends. It perfectly reflected the vision behind the competition: singing that comes straight from the heart.
Among those friends was a remarkable lady whose encouragement and unique ideas inspired the concept of Rooh Season’s distinctive grand finale format. Although she stepped away from the journey before the official launch dates were announced, her contribution remains an important part of our story. We remain grateful to her for planting the seed that grew into Rooh Season.

Founded in June 2025 by Navid Khan, a Dubai-based realtor with a deep love for Bollywood music, Rooh Season was born from a simple idea — to create a platform where aspiring singers from around the world could showcase their talent, connect through music, and become part of a vibrant community.
